Applicants must be at least 16 years old, own a legitimate copy of a supported simulator (MSFS, X-Plane, or Prepar3D), and possess a basic understanding of flying procedures. You must also agree to adhere to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Code of Conduct. We pride ourselves on professionalism, and this starts with a commitment to learning and following realistic procedures.
We primarily focus on VATSIM operations and strongly encourage all pilots to fly on the network for the most realistic experience. While flying offline is permitted for rank promotion, our major events, tours, and pilot recognition are centered on the VATSIM environment, giving you the best chance to fly alongside real ATC and fellow aviation enthusiasts.
Our fleet mirrors the real-world Air Transat operation, primarily featuring the Airbus A330 and A321Neo series. New pilots start on the Airbus Narrowbodies and progress to the A330 Widebodies based on logged flight hours. We highly recommend high-fidelity payware models (Fenix, FSLabs, Toliss) for full authenticity.
Flights are tracked using our proprietary SmartCars 3 client with VMS ACARS modifications. This client must be running from "Cold & Dark" to "Shutdown." It validates essential flight parameters automatically to ensure adherence to our professional standards.
To ensure our roster remains filled with active pilots, we require at least one flight every 60 days (two months). Pilots who exceed this limit will be marked as inactive, but we have a flexible leave of absence policy—just inform staff in advance!
Rank advancement is strictly based on logged flight hours, professionalism, and completing certain training modules. There are no time-based restrictions; you advance as quickly as you fly and learn. Check the Roster page for specific hour requirements.
